Nearly everybody would like to experience the euphoria of climbing Africa’s highest peak Mt. Kilimanjaro (5895 m) one of the chief attraction of this snow capped spectacular mountains is that no previous mountaineering experience is required.
You have to be physically fit make the ascend to the mountain which is exhibiting and unforgettable.
Day 1
On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport or Namanga / Taveta you will be met and transferred to Marangu or Kibo Hotel.You will meet local guides and make the arrangements for the following day’s trekking.
Day 2
Begin climbing. You will climb up to Mandara Hut (2742mts) near a volcanic fossil. You will arrive at the hut in time for lunch and rest the whole afternoon.Overnight at Mandara Hut.
Day 3
Today’s goal is Horombo hut (3700mts) the route takes you through heavy forest and then cross open savanna terrain.The giant Lobelias begins to appear at 3350mts. Overnight at Horombo Hut.
Day 4
Continue your mountain ascend to the saddle (4750mts) between Mawezi (5180mts) on your right and Kibo on your left. Walk along the saddle for 5kms but because of the attitude the temperature is quite low and the walk is made at slow pace. The night is spent at Kibo hut.
Day 5
Rise early and by about 0200hrs start the final ascend to Gilman’s 5685mts at the rim of the crater. You reach Gilman’s to witness the spectacular and unforgettable rise on the sun over Mawezi. After signing the book you can proceed to Uhuru Park 5895mts if your stamina survives. Return to Horombo for the night.
Day 6
This is the last day of the climb and you will return to Marangu or Kibo Hotel for a deserved comfortable night rest after your memorable achievement.
Day 7
After breakfast drive to either Taveta, Kilimanjaro Airport, Namanga or to the National Park after a sumptuous lunch at Arusha.

7 Days/6 Nights
Mt.Kilimanjaro Climb
The Machame trail is probably the most beautiful route up to Kilimanjaro but it is tougher. It starts at Machame on the western side and comes down on Eastern side at Marangu. It normally takes one week.
Day1:
Arrival and transfer to Machame cottage for final checking ready for the following trekking with dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2:
Proceed in a four - wheel drive from the cottage to the Machame gate. Walk 4-5 hours to the Machame Hut 3000mts
Day 3:
From the Machame Hut walk for about 5 hours to the Shira Hut (3800mts)
Day 4:
Walk for 5-6 hours from Shira Hut to Burranco Hut 3800mts.
Day 5:
Wake up early about 0200hrs start the final ascent to the Gilman’s 3800mts at the rim of the crater. You reach there to witness the spectacular and unforgettable rise on the sun over Mawezi. After signing the book you can proceed to Uhuru Park 5895mts if your stamina survives. Return to Horombo for the night.
Day 6:
This is the last day of the climb and you will return to Marangu or Kibo Hotel for a deserved comfortable night rest after your memorable achievement.
Day 7:
After breakfast journey to either Taveta, Kilimanjaro Airport or Namanga for Lunch.
Snows of Mount Kilimanjaro climb “Umbwe Trail”
8 Days 27 PTS
Day 1: Nairobi – Arusha
Leave Nairobi for Arusha by Shuttle bus arriving in time for lunch.
Afternoon spent at leisure and shopping for the provision needed for the Mountain with dinner and overnight stay at an Arusha hotel.
Day 2: Arusha - Lava Caves
After breakfast, transfer to Marangu gate and then to Umbwe Village to start to climb. Climb for four hours through the rain forest to camp at the cave 28000m above sea level.
Day 3: Lava Caves – Barranco Hut
After breakfast, continue ascending along a sharp ridge, giving a distinct high mountain feeling, then unto the Moorland Camp and by mid afternoon stay at Barranco Hut 3900m.
Day 4: Barranco Hut – Arrow Glacier.
Four hours walk past enormous breach wall to camp at the foot of the Arrow Glacier with a leisure afternoon and evening acclimatizing at around 4900m and watching the sunset behind Mt. Meru.
Day 5: Arrow Glacier –Kilimanjaro Crater Rim
Climb the same steep scrambling up the screes and across the frozen lava on the tottering wall and later camp on the stunning crater rim of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 6: Kilimanjaro Crater Rim – Horombo Hut
You trek up the highest point in Africa, Uhuru Peak (5896m).
Descend via Gilman’s Point and Kibo Hut for dinner and overnight (3761m).
Day 7: Horombo – Arusha
After breakfast, descend to the Marangu Park gate via Mandara.
You will be transferred to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Arusha – Nairobi
Shortly after breakfast depart for Nairobi by the morning or afternoon shuttle bus where the tour ends.

6 Days 28 PTS
Day 1:
Drive to MachameVillage. The climb begins at the end of the tarmac road. Walk through the shamba and through the forest to the Machame hut (3000m) in about 6 hours.
Day 2:
Cross the valley and continue along the steep bridge going on rock ridges and through health. The route turns west into a river gorge, reaching Shira hut (3800m).
Day 3:
Continue east towards Kibo passing the junction, then east towards the lava Tower.
Shortly after this, you climb down to Baranco Hut (3940m).
Day 4:
From Baranco a steep rocky climb, Baranco walls, then up and down until you come to Karanga Valley and then on to Barrafu Hut (4600m).
Day 5:
Very early start for the summit first Stella Point and then Uhuru Peak (5895m). There are two main ways to descend on the route – Marangu or Mweka, the Mweka route – Uhuru – Barrafu – Mweka. The Mweka route – Uhuru – Barrafu – Mweka Hut will take about 6 hours. The route is steep but picturesque. The Marangu – Uhuru – Kibo – Horombo is the main route; it is easier but can be dusty and busy. It is also longer.
Day 6:
Mweka Hut to Mweka Gate will take about 3 hours. Horombo to Marangu Gate will take about 6 hours. Drive to Arusha for hot showers, dinner and a warm bed.
