Nairobi city Tour

The tour covers modern City Centre, the Colourful City Market, Parliament, the Railway Museum and the renowned National Museum where there are spell-binding display of early man, tribal regalia and flora and fauna of Kenya.

A visit to the adjacent snake park is also included and the tour returns back to the City Centre on time for lunch.

Nairobi National Park

The unique wildlife sanctuary is just a few kilometers from Nairobi’s bustling city centre but despite its proximity there are numerous mammals that can be found here including four of the big five. The tour also includes an exciting visit to the animal orphanage at the park entrance and the tour returns back to the city centre before sunset.

Karen Blixen and the Giraffe Centre

Depart Nairobi in the morning or in the early afternoon and drive towards the Ngong Village to the Karen Blixen Museum and for many years this was her home.  Later proceed to the Giraffe Centre to see and feed the famous Rothschild Giraffes.

Carnivore Experience

Guaranteed daily at 12:30pm and 7:00pm. Nairobi has numerous fine restaurants offering a variety of cuisines and we highly recommend a dinner or lunch at the Carnivore which is famous for its terrific musical ballards and sumptuous steaks and barbecue dishes.

An earth-shaking “Dance the Night Away” will be at hand shortly after dinner to usher you to an exotic holiday in Kenya, especially as a welcome or farewell dinner and the price is inclusive of transfers to and from Nairobi or the airport.

Bomas of Kenya

A Boma is a homestead and just a few kilometers from the city centre, various homesteads reflecting Kenya’s cocktail of cultures have been recreated for visitors to see traditional village life. But the greatest excitement during the afternoon excursion is the display of traditional dancing, music and song performed in a splendid arena.

Half or full day to Paradise lost (Kiambu Caves)

Depart Nairobi City and drive to the largest picnic site in Kenya (54Acres) and this is the home of the 2.5 years Old Stone Age caves, trees thought to be hundred of years old while the river reeds have stories to tell.

We have nature trails which lead to a silver cut waterfall(about 10m long).Activities include feeding the Maasai Ostrich, watching birds (about 82 different species have been recorded),an exciting tour of 600 acres of coffee, horse riding, riding the “ship of the desert – Camel) also fishing for black Bass and Tilapia and also boat riding.

Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha

Depart Nairobi city and drive westwards stopping at the view point on the majestic Great Rift Valley and view the Loita Plains and also from here you can see Lake Naivasha sparkling in the sun thousands of feet below.

Then proceed to Lake Naivasha which is the highest lake in the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha is famous in the 1930’s as a staging post for Imperial Airways Flying Boat Services from Durban to London.  You can have a boat ride to the Crescent Island (an optional activity)

N/B- Crescent Island is one of the few places in the entire Africa where you can wander on foot among herds of Zebras, Wildebeest, Gazelle and Giraffe and no predators.

Day Trip to the Chimpanzees Sanctuary

Depart Nairobi and travel north where you drive past pineapple, coffee, and banana plantations to the largest open-air market in East and Central Africa known as Karatina with a brief stop-over to sample what is sold and to meet the local inhabitants who belong to the biggest tribe in Kenya – the Kikuyu.

Proceed to the sweet waters game reserve / ranch and chimp in the one square kilometer sanctuary.  This sanctuary is home to more than 26 orphaned chimps age varying from 02- 15 years most of which came from Jane Good All Institute in Burundi.  Return to Nairobi   arriving later in the evening (Latest Include baby zee, rescued from a pet shop in United Arab Emirates).

Oldonyo Sabuk National Park

Depart from Nairobi early in the morning and arrive at Thika town and thereafter visit Chania falls before proceeding to Fourteen Falls via one of the largest pineapple firms in East Africa (Delmonte)and upon arrival you will be guided to the falls by an armed ranger due to the huge number of buffaloes which inhabit the surroundings.

(The hill is known by the local Kamba tribe as  “Kilimambogo”  - mountain of buffaloes) and return to Nairobi at your leisure arriving in the evening.

Hell’s Gate National Park (Naivasha)

Depart early morning from Nairobi and drive through the stunning Great Rift Valley and have a super picnic lunch at Hell’s Gate Park and thereafter proceed to Fischer’s Tower.

While on this exciting excursion you will visit the Geothermal Plant and the Hot Water Springs and you will have the grand moment to witness some of the wildlife that inhabit this park and bear in mind that Hell’s Gate is the only park where you can walk on foot among wildlife. Later depart Naivasha for Nairobi arriving back at the Capital City shortly before sunset.

Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru lies in the volcano-strewn Great Rift Valley and is one of a chain of 8 lakes, which stretch the length of Kenya from Tanzania to Ethiopia. The 160km drive from Nairobi passes through highland farms of the Kikuyu people before descending an escarpment into the dramatic landscape of the Great Rift Valley.

Lunch is taken in the park and is followed by an extensive tour which focuses on the bewildering spectacle of a million flamingo but which also seeks out the large variety of wildlife with which the park abounds. On the return journey to Nairobi a brief stop-over is made at Lake Naivasha for a cup of African tea and Naivasha is the destination where bird watchers delight in the fantastic array of bird life.

Amboseli Express

Amboseli National Park lies within the shadow of mighty Kilimanjaro (Africa highest mountain).  Only nature in all her majesty could create such a backdrop to the wildlife pageant found at Amboseli.  Game is seen en-route to the park and cross through ochre plains where Maasai tend their cattle in an age–old tradition.

Lunch is taken at a lodge in the park and afterwards another game drive is undertaken where lion, elephant and splendid cheetah are likely to be seen.  Return back to Nairobi in good time for a mouth-watering dinner.
